Immerse yourself in the world of cacao and discover the art of artisanal chocolate at the heart of Bici Chocolate. On this shared tour, you'll explore our factory surrounded by nature as we guide you through each stage of the Bean to Bar process: from the origin of the cacao to the chocolate that reaches your hands. You'll learn about the history of cacao in Mesoamerica, discover the techniques we use to transform the bean into fine chocolate with Bici-Machines, and uncover the aromas, flavors, and secrets that make Costa Rican cacao unique. The experience concludes with a guided tasting of our signature chocolates, where you can appreciate the different notes and profiles that emerge from the cacao. It's an educational, sensory, and accessible experience for all ages, perfect for travelers, families, and chocolate lovers. Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. Reservations can be made online, by phone, or in person (subject to availability). Public tours require a minimum of 4 participants. If the minimum is not reached, we will contact you at least 24 hours before your tour to offer you: • Rescheduling for another available date/time (at no additional cost), or • Upgrading to a private tour for an additional cost. Customer Cancellations: • More than 24 hours before the tour → Full refund or free rescheduling. • Less than 24 hours or no-show → No refund. If you wish to pay in cash, please contact us directly to make your reservation. Changes: Subject to availability; please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations by Bici Chocolate: If we have to cancel, you will receive a full refund or you can reschedule at no additional cost. Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Tours start promptly; late arrivals may miss part of the experience and will not receive a refund. Children are welcome; please keep them supervised at all times. Please inform us of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or mobility conditions at the time of booking. Our tours operate in all weather conditions, and the activities are indoors, so you will be comfortable. We have ramps and level floors; our facilities are wheelchair and stroller accessible, with an accessible restroom and seating areas during the tour. Sales tax (VAT) is not included in the price shown and will be calculated at checkout.
